Founded by Bradley Tuyn in 2016, Libre Rum & Cola is the original rum and cola ready-to-drink beverage.
“We're taking the old standard, Cuba Libre, and kicking it up a notch with imported 3-year oak barrel aged rum, the best tasting cola, sweetened with raw cane sugar, and a twist of natural lime juice. Libre Rum & Cola® is a Ready-to-Drink (“RTD”) cocktail in a 12 oz. can - created for customers seeking an alternative to malt-based cocktails. It is portable, convenient, high-quality and great tasting!”
Originally released as a diet product, the brand redevelopment in 2018 under the creative direction of Joshua Berman and Punch Design Co. The new position embraced the Cuban-American heritage and took inspiration from the era of its origins. Signaling “spirits-first” and nodding to its premium, imported Central American rum, the packaging was updated to reflect the new story, as well as the new price point.
