PROCESS PREVIEW
Originally tasked with a single series (two launching agave products called “Troublemaker” and “Vigilante”), Punch developed an array of initial concepts with one vision. These sketches are from two back-to-back meetings, held a week or so after establishing our brand strategy for Art of Agave. During this process Punch identified a clear split in the product lineup, and suggested a ‘sister’ series for agave spirits of a certain tier.
We developed the name for this sister series: “Tequiliana.” As this was a novel product at the time, we wanted to separate it from other popular agave spirits, but convey its botanical connection to familiar brands. It’s not mezcal. It’s not tequila. It’s Tequiliana.
